These premium tablets support S Pen and come with AI features for productivity and editing. Samsung on Thursday (October 1, 2026) launched Galaxy Tab S12 series in India featuring the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra and Tab S12+.
Additionally, they have Vision Booster to adjust brightness in real time. Their screen can be split into three sections in Multi Window layout. Galaxy Tab S12 series is IP68-rated for water and dust resistance. The Galaxy Tab S12 series supports up to seven OS upgrades and security updates. Both the tablets support 45W charging.
The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra has a 14.6 inch and Tab S12+ gets a 12.6 inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays with peak brightness up to 1,600 nits. Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra has a 5.1mm profile and weighs 692 grams, while the Galaxy Tab S12+ gets a 5.3mm body and weighs 553 grams. They ship with a 3nm processor MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor with up to 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. They operate on One UI 9.0 based on Android 17 out of the box. Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra runs on an 11,600 mAh battery while the Galaxy Tab S12+ ships with a 10,600 mAh cell. Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra sports a 13 MP main and an 8 MP ultrawide lens. It uses a 12 MP front camera. The Tab S12+ comes with a 13 MP main and a 12 MP selfie camera. These premium tablets will be available in India starting October 7 in Gray and Silver colours. The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra starts at ₹1,49,999, while the Galaxy Tab S12+ starts at ₹1,29,999.
